You Have A Destiny

"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them". Ephesians 2:20 KJV

The above verse will be a key scripture for your study on destiny. Lets look at this scripture and consider what God is telling us in this verse.

"We are his workmanship".

What does this mean to you?

The Amplified translation reads:

"For we are God's (own) handiwork (His workmanship)."

We are created by God.

"created in Christ Jesus" KJV

"recreated in Christ Jesus (born anew)". Amp.

Have you been recreated in Christ, born anew? _______________

If you have, then you are on a journey. You have a purpose arranged by God. This destiny was laid out for you before the foundations of the world.

"unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them". KJV

"that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us, (taking paths which He prepared ahead of time) that we should walk in themliving the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live". Amp.

In an age where there is continual chaos, pulling us in all directions, it is comforting to know God has ordered our lives, even before they began.

On the cover of this tutorial there is a picture of a women driving up a road. She is off on a long, adventurous and exciting journey. The road is paved, but it contains curves and potholes along the way. Even though there may be some unexpected bumps and turns, God has already mapped a road especially constructed for you. Believe it or not, you have been traveling on that road from the day you were born. The woman in the picture is moving toward a goal. The target represents a destination or promise. There are good things ahead for her.

God has a plan for you, a direction in which you should walk and the total resources by which you can arrive at your destination. At the end of this study you will understand how important you are in God's definitive plan.
