WHO ARE PEOPLE BUILDERS?

In year 2000, two women, two stories, and twin visions came together by a divine appointment. The results of such a meeting sparked a ministry that has changed the essence of how we view ministry today. Founders Wilma J. Wofford and Elena Kroeger, anointed and gifted women of God, each have been called to minister life to both men and women. As a result of their obedience, personal ministries have been strengthened, birthed, and realized. Many have been blessed by two women's submission to God.

What is People Builders?

People Builders is a ministry of "Process" through the working of the Holy Spirit that empowers and encourages men and women to walk fully in their God-given abilities. This is accomplished biblically through prayer, spiritual counsel, discipleship, teaching, and leadership training and development. We believe in building people by building wholesome relationships.

WHAT IS PROCESSING?

Throughout our lives, we all encounter some sort of "drama" or "trauma" that paralyzes us in our spiritual and natural development. These life events many times keep us locked in our past, and prevent us from viewing ourselves as God views us. Society tells us that we should just "get over it" not recognizing that emotional healing is indeed a "process". Consequently, we end up attempting ministering to others through our own hurts. People Builders is a ministry that is completely devoted to encouraging men and women as they discover what God has placed in them as a result of their past experiences. "Processing" is a method by which each participant is empowered to look at "truth" as it relates to them, with the expectation of a greater truth, which is that God loves them in spite of who they are and where they've been, and He has a wonderful plan for their lives.

People Builders is open to anyone who desires to grow intimately with God and desire to see others grow. Requirements to begin a ministry in your area are as follow:

OUR MISSION

Luke 4:18-19

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,

Because He has anointed Me

    To preach the gospel to the poor;

He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,

    To proclaim liberty to the captives

    And recovery of sight to the blind,

    To set at liberty those who are

    oppressed;

To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."

OUR OBJECTIVES

We believe that God's purpose for all His children is to minister one to the other.

Our initial workshop is to assist the participants in knowing and understanding their present level of ministry.

We share tools that must be present in one before effective ministry can be accomplished.

We assist the participants in identifying the strong gifts in their lives and how they can be used in their local churches, as well as, the universal body of Christ.

We begin individual counseling with some participants (many participants have already received counseling).

We participate in exercises that help others to see and understand why they have been unsuccessful in working together as a team in ministry.

We accentuate the "team" philosophy and the need for it due to the massive job that we are facing as willing vessels.

We stress that there must be open, honest communication at all times.

We have zero tolerance for those behaviors that will bring about strife and separation among the body of Christ.

We emphasize the importance of not stepping out too soon. The area that participants are not quite ready for will be recognized, and teaching provided to assist them in getting ready.

We pray, praise, and worship together. We give God thanks for all victories.

We share our life's struggles openly and honestly. This sharing is part of the healing process.

We understand that we must overcome soulful hurts and unhealthy relationships.

We share the need to always follow the direction of the Holy Spirit.

Nothing is about power, position or anything else that will keep us from doing the will of the Lord.

We encourage the participants to welcome diversity in ministry.

"Knowledge without application leads to fruitlessness."
