OUR MISSION
Luke 4:18-19
"The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are
oppressed;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."
OUR OBJECTIVES
We believe that God's purpose for all His children is to minister one to the other.
Our initial workshop is to assist the participants in knowing and understanding their present level of ministry.
We share tools that must be present in one before effective ministry can be accomplished.
We assist the participants in identifying the strong gifts in their lives and how they can be used in their local churches, as well as, the universal body of Christ.
We begin individual counseling with some participants (many participants have already received counseling).
We participate in exercises that help others to see and understand why they have been unsuccessful in working together as a team in ministry.
We accentuate the "team" philosophy and the need for it due to the massive job that we are facing as willing vessels.
We stress that there must be open, honest communication at all times.
We have zero tolerance for those behaviors that will bring about strife and separation among the body of Christ.
We emphasize the importance of not stepping out too soon. The area that participants are not quite ready for will be recognized, and teaching provided to assist them in getting ready.
We pray, praise, and worship together. We give God thanks for all victories.
We share our life's struggles openly and honestly. This sharing is part of the healing process.
We understand that we must overcome soulful hurts and unhealthy relationships.
We share the need to always follow the direction of the Holy Spirit.
Nothing is about power, position or anything else that will keep us from doing the will of the Lord.
We encourage the participants to welcome diversity in ministry.
