THE MEANING OF DESTINY

What Is Meant By Destiny?

Destine (des' tin)

(1) To design for or appoint a purpose.

Destiny (des' ti ne)

(1) The fate to which a person or thing is destined.

(2) the preordained or predetermined ordering of events.

Destination (des tre n shen)

(1) The point or place set for a journey to end, or to which something is directed.

(2) the purpose or end for which anything is created or intended.

(3) the act of designating or appointing.

GODS PURPOSE FOR YOU

It is important for you to know Gods ultimate purpose in order to be certain your efforts are directed toward His goals. Read the following scriptures and describe in your own words Gods purpose:

These scriptures reveal God bringing all things under the rule of His Son Jesus. What is your role in bringing His entire creation under Jesus?

We see that through us, His church, God's purpose will be carried out. We have the opportunity to be His willing instrument by which His purpose will be fulfilled.
