Success also is struggle

No matter the magnitude of the storm "The Palm Tree Stands".

Scripture Reference: Psalms 119

Jesus is gentle, and in His gentleness He wants to get your life in order.  He wants you to bring your broken heart and shattered dreams to Him.  When Jesus puts your life in order, He will heal your heart, and He will heal your soul.  Jesus has a dream in His heart that will cause you to come to a place not only of achievement, but fulfillment.  Jesus will demonstrate himself faithful as He continues the process of bringing your life in order.

I love the words of Psalms 119 because no matter what life brings; it does not matter the storm that you're in, when you begin to hear and obey Jesus, He will cause the storm to pass over.  He will bring you into clear skies.

Jesus is the Lion; which means He is the King.  I don't know the beast that you are facing, but I can tell you that Jesus can conquer it.  At the same time, Jesus is the Lamb.  He is tender.  Let me tell you something very striking about Jesus.  On the one hand He is like steel: powerful, irresistible, unyielding, solid, and penetrating like a sword.  He can pierce through and defeat your enemy.  On the other hand, He's like velvet.  Jesus takes every one of your feelings into account and feels your feelings with you.  He can be touched with the feeling of what you are going through.  Yet, He's strong enough to shake whatever is on you, off of you.  He's meek enough to take you wherever you are, and He doesn't condemn you, judge you, criticize you nor put you down. Jesus is not impatient.  He is so loving.  With Him, you feel safe.  He comforts you like a nurse.  He nourishes you, and He wants to build you up.  He wants to strengthen you.  He wants to encourage you.  He wants positive powerful transformation to come into your life and into your experiences.

How you begin to bring your life in order is that you begin to come to Jesus.  Theres something about life that can sometimes make you weary.  Sometimes you need to bring what hurts you; you need to bring some scars.  I have been through some stuff, and I have the scars to prove that I was there.  Sometimes Jesus brings you to a place of health and healing, but leaves the scars.  It is a healed scar that He uses to remind you where you came from, and to testify that God has brought you through.  Nobody wants to hear your testimony unless they can see the scar.  One of the things that I love about Jesus is my past with Him does not determine my future.

Bring the load that you carry to Him.  Sometimes life is full of setbacks.  Sometimes life is full of unexpected turns and you experience reversals.  You can make plans but the outcome was not according to your plans.  Sometimes things that you are trying to hold together fall apart.  When that occurs, you don't have to fall apart like the stuff that is falling apart around you.  Your life does not consist of the abundance of things that you possess.  You are not your things.  Things or lack of things sometimes become the load that we carry.

Some of us want to be loved by those people that we think are significant.  At times those very people that we want approval from disapprove of us, and that becomes a load that we carry.  But you need to know, they cant approve of us because they don't approve of themselves.  And you can't give what you dont have.  When Jesus brings you into order, He says, "They can't give you what they don't have.  You need to bring that load of being disapproved by somebody of significance to Me; you need to drop it at the cross and leave it there.  And say, they can't give me what I needed.

Some of us are carrying the load of past failures.  Okay, say that you failed, but let me help you.  You are in some kind of company.    You need to say to some one else, "I hope I'm in good company.  I know you are in good company".  Anybody who has not experienced failure is lying.  They are covering up a load that they are carrying because everybody has experienced failure.  Now is the time for you to get you life in order and let go of the load.

Psalms 119:133 says, "Direct my steps by Your word,  And let no iniquity have dominion over me."  You need to quit carrying the load of who disappointed you.  Again, you need to quit carrying the load of who disappointed you.  Some of us are carrying the load of self-resentment.  Some are carrying the load of self-hatred.  Jesus is telling you right now to lay down the load, and get your life in order.  You are a child of God's and the load is not yours to carry.  You are a thief because you are carrying a load that is no longer yours.  The reason you feel bad is because you are a thief.  Jesus said come unto me and give me your load.  Give Him your load because; it is really His.

Hebrew chapter 12 says lay aside every weight.  It is time for you to lay the weight aside.  When you lay your weight aside, God's word lets you know that you are coming into order.  Some of us have become what people have told us.  We have lived a lie as if it were true.  The reason they did not like you is that they did not like themselves; they were perpetrating.  Quit living the lie.  When you don't know who you are, other people will give you an identity that is not yours.

 Example:

Moses was the son of the Pharaoh's daughter and he became a prince, but one day Moses said, "I am not the son of the pharaohs daughter.  I am the son of the Hebrew woman.  I've been living a lie.  I accepted an identity that is not mine".  When he rejected the false identity and accepted the one that was true, he came into his destiny.  When you find your identity, God brings you into destiny.  Get your life together and get into divine order.

Your identity is the key to your destiny.  You are not rejected. You are loved by your heavenly Father.  You are not unimportant; you are the most important person on the earth in the eyes of your heavenly Father.  You are not insignificant.  You are the most significant person on the earth in the eyes of your heavenly Father.
